Uncover our story
Karen is a fully qualified and licensed accountant and has been in the financial industry for over 15 years. Aligned Accounting was founded in 2020, the pandemic gave the push Karen needed to set up a business that allows her to do what she loves, whilst working around her family.
As a small business owner Karen understands the challenges faced by small business owners trying to navigate finances, taxes and ever changing expectations from HMRC.
“My mission is to bridge the gap, helping you to understand what your numbers are telling you so that you can make strong financial decisions and reach your business goals – whatever they may be!”
Karen is an advocate for youth training, apprenticeship and social mobility, and as a member of the AAT’s Advisory Council, Karen regularly contributes to AAT discussions and writes for the magazine, sharing professional knowledge, informing the sector and contributing to policy change - including conversations around wellbeing in the profession.
A Note From Karen
As someone passionate about supporting both businesses and people, I regularly contribute to industry conversations through the AAT.
One recent topic explored the importance of protecting mental wellbeing in the profession - something I believe matters both in business and beyond.
